What should I do if I’ve changed the email registered with “Mawhiba”?

You can recover and update your account using your national ID number via the “Can’t access my account/Forgot password” option.

How can I participate?

By registering for the competition via the registration tab

How can I get ready for the test?

On Competition website, there are question samples tab which includes various interactive experimental questions on the official competition format

What are the targeted classes?

Third grade primary to third secondary

Can a student make more than one test attempt?

This is not allowed as per the competition system.

Can the test be delivered before completion (if the student pressed the submit button)?

It is not possible to return again for testing after submission.

When will the results of the electronic test appear?

Results will appear immediately after the end of the test.

What is the test date?

I could not complete the test (technical problems/browser closure/device restart/internet disconnection)?

How are my scores calculated in the quiz test?

Full score of the test is 480 degrees.
The test consists of 12 questions.
Each problem has 3 graded levels of difficulty.

Each problem has a perfect score of 40 degrees divided as follows:

In the event that the first level of the problem is solved, the student gets 20 marks.
In the event that the second level of the problem is solved, the student gets 30 marks.
In the event that the third level of the problem is solved, the student gets 40 marks.

N.B: If the student solves the third level of the problem only, he/ she will get the final score of the problem (40) without the need to solve the first and second levels. If he/ she solves the second level of the problem, he will get 30 without the need to solve the first level of the problem.

What is the purpose of the competition?

Promote problem-solving skills and informatics concepts, including the ability to turn hard problems into easy elements, develop algorithms, and identify patterns and abstraction.
Test the student's ability to think about solving problems;
Learn methodological solution methods indirectly; and
Solve as many problems as possible in the prescribed time limit.

Is student training available?

There is no training and we recommend entering the question forms page on Competition website

Is there any participation fee?

Yes, the Competition fee is (SAR 40)

Where will the competition be held?

The competition will be held remotely.

How the prizes will be presented?

Medals of the winners will be sent to their respective education departments.

What is the date of delivery of awards?

In liaison with the education departments within one month as of result announcement.
