Program Objectives

  • Expand students’ intellectual and knowledge horizons and open new avenues for growth.
  • Identify and discover scientific fields to set future goals.
  • Develop personal and social skills and equip students with 21st-century skills.
  • Provide a scientific and enriching environment that allows students to interact with their gifted peers of the same age group.
Registration / Nomination Requirements

Your registration in The National Program for Gifted Identification
is your gateway to joining, provided you achieve the required qualification score.

Eligible Participants:

Students of The National Program for Gifted Identification from 4th grade to 7th grade in the current year.

 

Program Registration Requirements:

  1.    The student must be a Saudi national or have a Saudi mother. Non-Saudis are accepted up to 10% of the total number of students.
  2. The student must achieve the required score in the  Mawhiba Multiple Cognitive Aptitude Test (MMCAT)according to the following table:
    Grade Level Minimum Score
    4th / 5th / 6th 1370 and higher
    7th / 8th / 9th Middle 1355 and higher
  3. The student must register through the Enrichment Programs Registration Portal, select the program type, and complete the registration process.
  4. Read and adhere to the Program Participation Terms and Conditions and assume full responsibility. To view, click here.
  5. The student must pay the program fee to finalize their registration according to the following table:

    If there are sponsors supporting some enrichment programs, the fee may be reduced accordingly

Program Fee Partial Exemption:

Partial fee exemption can be requested during registration if you belong to one of the following categories. Supporting documents must be attached:
•    Families registered in Social Security.
•    Members of charitable organizations.
•    Children of martyrs.
•    Individuals with verified financial hardship (legal document required).

Enrichment Units

The scientific curriculum is based on four scientific fields, from which enrichment units are developed by leading global experts in talent and creativity:

1.    Engineering Sciences
2.    Computer Science and Applied Mathematics
3.    Physics, Earth, and Space Sciences
4.    Medical, Biological, and Chemical Sciences

Mawhiba offers 8 enrichment units divided according to grades. Units are selected in coordination with host organizations and according to the availability of necessary tools.
