Introduction
IIn alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, particularly under the pillar of “A Thriving Economy with Rewarding Opportunities”, which emphasizes education as a key driver of economic progress, and in support of the commitment to "focus on innovation in advanced technologies and entrepreneurship", the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Ibdaa) plays a vital role. Consistent with the goals of the Tenth Development Plan, which aims to transform the Kingdom into a creative and knowledge-based society, Ibdaa seeks to foster a dynamic and competitive scientific environment. It stimulates the minds of young scientific researchers, preparing them to contribute to and compete within the global knowledge economy through innovation and scientific research—ultimately supporting sustainable national development.
The National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Ibdaa) stands as a testament to the excellence and innovation consistently demonstrated by the Kingdom’s youth through outstanding scientific projects at both local and international levels. This journey of creativity and achievement continues today under the joint organization of the Ministry of Education and the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba). Aligned with Saudi Arabia’s educational policy, the Olympiad seeks to foster a spirit of scientific inquiry, promote research and critical thinking, and celebrate global accomplishments in science and knowledge.
